Dear ICME members, it’s been three years since the last ICME board was elected. As there are every three years ICOM General conferences, this year in Dubai November 11–17, 2025 | Dubai World Trade Centre Dubai, UAE, also International Committees have their new Chair and Board elections.

The selection of Dubai as the hosting city for 2025 marks a historic moment, positioning Dubai as the first city in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia to organise this prestigious international event since ICOM’s establishment in 1946.

Following the recommendation of the ICOM Secretariat in Paris, we will hold online elections. We shall use the Xoyondo (https://xoyondo.com) as a voting platform. All ICME members, who are eligible (who payed the 2025 ICOM membership fee) can vote. We shall start the online vote on Wednesday, October 1st and continue until Monday, October 6th 2025.
